Dancing with the Stars Cake

This cake was for a little girl who turned 8 and her theme was dancing with the stars. The cake is a moist rum cake with a vanilla custard filling. I then covered it in a butter cream fondant. The stars and silhouette are also made of colored fondant. The little girls name was created with colored chocolate and put on lollipop sticks. She was super happy.

R&J red velvet cupcakes

These were also for the bridal shower. They are red velvet cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting. The initials of the couple are made of chocolate as is the heart. It matched the decorations perfectly.

Cream Cheese kahlua cupcakes

These cupcakes are vanilla cupcakes with a cream cheese kahlua frosting. I then put a red chocolate heart on top. These were a hit.

Bridal Shower cupcakes

These cupcakes were for a bridal shower. They are chocolate with mini chocolate chip pieces melted inside. The frosting is a vanilla butter cream swirled like a rose with red pearls on top to go with the color of the party.

40th Birthday Cake

  
This cake was for a woman who was turning 40. The bottom cake was a moist vanilla cake with a smooth mocha filling. The top cake was a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling. I then covered them in fondant. Everything is edible including the bow up top. All of the zebra strips were cut out one by one. This cake was a hit.

Gerber Daisy Cake

Happy Birthday cake! The bottom cake was a lemon cake with cream cheese filling and the top cake was a vanilla cake with vanilla filling and fresh cut strawberries. I frosted it all with butter cream and covered it in white fondant. I gave it a little color by using blue lace around both bottoms of the cake and placed real Gerber daisies on the cake, which she had mentioned she loved!

Record Player Cake

This was for a 40th birthday party. He likes record players so I made him a record player with his face from when he was a baby in the middle of the record. Everything is edible. The cake was a marble cake with butter cream and chocolate drizzle. I then frosted it with vanilla butter cream and covered it with colored marshmallow fondant. The writing was done with colored frosting. The details on top of the cake were done with fondant and the picture is made of edible paper. He was very happy with this cake.

Vanilla Cupcakes with Peanut Butter

If you love recess pieces you will love this new flavor. This is a vanilla cupcake with a peanut butter frosting with real pieces of recess  peanut butter cups. It is not too peanut buttery but just right!

Happy Valentines Day Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made for a valentine's day party. I made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes both frosted with vanilla frosting covered in pink heart sprinkles and topped with a white chocolate heart.

Christmas Cupcakes!

These are Oreo cookie cupcakes with green colored butter cream and swirled up to look like a Christmas tree.  I then decorated them with blue and purple edible pearls so they would look like ornaments. Lastly I topped it off with a white chocolate star and sprinkled yellow glitter on top to give it a sparkle. Merry Christmas!

21st Birthday Cake

This cake was  for a girl who was turning 21. The cake is a marble cake filled with vanilla butter cream and fresh cut strawberries. It is all covered with vanilla butter cream and on top is the colored marshmallow fondant. The letters, numbers and black margarita glasses on the cake were also fondant. The cup on top was real and filled with edible pearls in white and red heart sprinkles. She wanted a princess looking cake and she said that is exactly what she got!

Football Piped Cake!

This was a small cake that fed 20 people for a little boys birthday party. It was a marble cake shaped as a football and piped with milk chocolate all over. The white lines in the middle and on the side were made of creamy butter creme. I then piped grass around the football which was done with butter creme mixed with green food coloring. The letters and numbers are made of a marshmallow fondant which the birthday boy ate right away because it was his favorite part! This cake was a hit.

Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake!

This was for a little boy named Jakey who turned 1. His theme as you can see was Disney. What is a Disney themed party without Mickey? The bottom layer of this cake is made of a dark chocolate with cookies and cream smooth icing in the middle with real oreos in it frosted in vanilla butter cream with a thin layer of marshmallow fondant. The second tier is a moist vanilla cake with a strawberry mouse in the center also frosted with butter cream and to top it off a thin layer of fondant. The hat is made of a vanilla ball cake frosted with vanilla and covered in fondant. Everything you see here is edible. The yellow feet are made with pure fondant as well as the ears, buttons, name, number, mini mickeys, and the balls around the second tier. To give it its finishing look I piped the bottom with circles made of black butter cream. They loved it!
